In the beginning of November 2012, Marcello Fontana from »Free Spirits« asked me about some ideas for the design of the current »Breganze SF 750 R.« With the new carbon parts for the model 2013 he and his business partner Davide Carboniero, »Breganze Motociclette Italiane« (Link to Facebook), were a bit unhappy because these parts have a strong »olive glimmer«.
To put the result in advance: My Digital Bodyart designs for the »Breganze SF 750 R / 2013« were not implemented. In the end Davide Carboniero choosed a design from his own house. Things like that happen. The studies presented here are therefore NOT official »Breganze Motociclette Italiane«! They are design-studies out of the pure ideas from my graphic design studio.
But I think my design studies shown here, are still interesting for many of my fans and viewers. Not just friends of the brand »Breganze«. They show you how a simple idea can produce a design in several directions. And it’s also very interesting for lovers of generous carbon surfaces on her motorcycle. Please mention: The SF 750 Face front-shield and sidepanels were not produced in carbon.
My first idea was to give the »olive glimmer« of the carbon parts a make sense in terms of the design. Covered with a lightly tinted clearcoat, should the »olive« and its carbon structure affect more haptic and become more stronger. »Olive« is the color of the military and the relation of motorcycle to airplane is easy to see. So Air Force. The Italian Air Force.
Il Generale Aeronautica & Frecce Tricoloiri
I worked in both designs with the Italian national emblem, the emblems of an airforce »general« (four stripes with a diamond), the symbol of an abstract »Lily« (Aeronautica Militare) and typical elements of military vehicles. After finishing the design of my »Il Generale Aeronautica« I adapted it to the appearance of the »Frecce Tricoloiri« in blue, white and red. The »Frecce Tricoloiri« (Link to Wikipedia Germany) are the aerobatic team of the Italian Air Force.
Both »airforce« designs were too individual and too much »customized«. Too, Davide lacked the typical classic orange color, which the brand »Breganze« connects to the historic brand »Laverda«.
Orange Espresso & Orange Macchiato
In both design studies, the carbon acts only as a pure, interesting surface for the coming decor. Both drafts go in the direction »Factory« and »Race«. The most important point for me was that front-shield and sidepanels (not carbon) find their connection to the carbon look and the overall impression of the bike.
If you are a fan/friend of the brand »Breganze«, feel free to contact Davide Carboniero (Link to Facebook) about those carbon-parts and a possible, more individual design for your coming SF 750 R. For you who are just become interested in a own personal design for you in carbon covered bike, feel free to contact me. More informations about my »Digital Bodyart Design« below.

::: A short word about »Virtual Tuning«
»Virtual tuning« is the visual step between your idea and the realisation by an airbrusher or wrapper (stickers). When your idea is more than a racing-stripe running over the tank, you should thinking about this intermediate step. »Virtual tuning «allows you to »catch & view« your idea in advance and to get a good look on the result before it comes to realization on the vehicle. Whether your a company, a racing team or a private person – when you are thinking about to modify your vehicle also in the design of the bodyart, for advertising or just your own presentation in front of the public: With »Virtual Tuning« you can always be sure to find the vehicle on the tarmac what you really want to see there.
Costs: An individual, fully elaborated wrapping design (stickers / racing – all views), is about 1.200 to 2.000 euros. Between 16 and 36 hours of work. If you are not discouraged by this price statement: feel free to contact me.
